One of our residents is looking to hire a cleaning service that already works in other apartments in the building. If any of you use a cleaning service that you are happy with, please e-mail that information to so we can forward that information to the resident making the inquiry. Thank you!!!

Our building is a member of the Council of New York Cooperatives & Condominiums. Every year they hold a conference with seminars on various topics relevant to New York's Multi-Dwelling buildings, such as ours.

This year, their Housing Conference is being held on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Baruch College. The event runs from 8am to 5pm.

Some examples of this year's 1 to 3 hour seminars include:

  • Repairs in a Cooperative - Who's Responsible for What?
  • Financial Responsibilities of Condominium Boards
  • The Green Committee
  • Redecorating Public Spaces
  • Committees to Help Run Your Building
  • Combating Rising Energy Costs
  • Plants that Thrive in an Urban Environment
  • Understanding Your Heating System

...and many more!

Check out the full list of seminars and the schedule at their website:
